OIDC Tourism Infrastructure

In order to boost the tourism activity in these UTs, OIDC has taken up many ambitious projects. To unveil the creativity and to encourage the local artisans of Dadra & Nagar Haveli, we contributed a seed capital of Rs. 1 lakh for the promotion of local tribal artifacts and handicrafts. Diu has been declared as a special tourism area because of its beautiful beaches, churches, forts and cultural heritage.
	Realising the potential of Diu as an up market tourism destination, we strived hard to contribute towards tourism infrastructure at Diu. Due to its strategic location and scenic beauty, we developed several tourist destinations in Diu. We leased out Pelican Resort at Jallandhar Beach and land for Indian Style Health Resort at Nagoa Beach to private entrepreneurs.
